Fair Isle Luxury

Ok.....so much fun....this fair isle infinity is knit from a vogue pattern (holiday 2015 convertible buttoned scarn) with a few mods.  I did not do the button band or buttons, but went with a kitchener closure...  The yarn is amazing....anzula cricket...merino/cashmere soft.  Love the colours, love the soft and enjoyed the knit.

Spinning the Yak

Ok.....so this lovely fibre is from River's Edge and a 50/50 blend of yak and silk.  This was a challenge for me to spin as I'm not great with spinning from the fold...but yoda (Meg) helped me along by starting me with fake rolags (folags) that helped me work my way into spinning from the fold.  A challenge and learning experience.

Waiting for Sea Pearls

Ok....the pattern is named Waiting for Rain and the yarn is Sea Pearls by Chris at Briar Rose.  A lovely Merino/Tencel blend beautifully dyed.  The pattern was fun to knit....although I did have to do it twice because I found an error and had to start again after completing two thirds....but sometimes that's how the knitting goes.
